The iPad has proven that it's capable of running PS2 or Xbox games without any issues - GTA 3, Baroque, Knights of the Old Republic, The Bard's Tale, Resident Evil 4.

So, what are some of the other games from that era that you'd like to see make their way to the Apple device?

Wouldn't mind some of the JRPGs from that era. I feel like the iPad lends itself rather well to the genre. It's also harder to botch them control-wise since you're spending a lot of time navigating an overworld (which rarely requires any sort of intense precision) and in-battle menus.

Beyond that, my requests are somewhat unrealistic. Klonoa 2, Chulip, Viewtiful Joe, maybe Okami (probably the most likely).

I agree that the games that don't require precise controls would do best on the iPad.

Funnily enough the three games I'd like to see on iPad most are all Xbox or PC-exclusive games:

Morrowind - this goes without saying, I think. I would love to have a big open-world Elder Scrolls RPG on my iPad, and Morrowind was actually my favourite of the whole franchise.

Heroes Under Fire - Funnily enough, as this game is more strategy game than anything else I think it would be better on the iPad than it was on the console. I loved this game, as difficult as it was, because it had some truly great unit-based RTS elements on it.

Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth - Best horror game I've ever played, and being stealth-based it would fare better on iPad than most first person perspective games.

Two of those are Bethesda games. Hm... Time for Bethesda to jump on the mobile wagon methinks.

I'm not gonna buy something for the iPad that I can buy for a console. No exceptions. Nor would I buy something for the 3DS I can buy for the Wii U. There's no point in owning a console game on a handheld, since they're not built with the system in mind.
