Microsoft Xbox One Empty Microsoft Xbox One

Similar to Matt's parallel thread about the PS4, I'm curious who here, if anyone, has nabbed an Xbox One. I've had mine, though I've had to be somewhat covert with it. My oldest daughter schools from home online, so I couldn't hide it from her, but my younger 2 have no idea that I'm going to spring this on them in two days for Thanksgiving morning. So far I've only had a chance to really delve into LocoCycle (meh, average) and Zumba (fun, but dancing is so not my thing). I picked up Zoo Tycoon and am planning to nab Forza 5 this afternoon so we'll have a few titles for it at least. Anyone else got an Xbox One yet? If so, what are your early thoughts?

AKA the machine that has the good version of Titanfall. And is not a PC.

...still sounds worth the $500 to me. Razz

LOL - I'm hoping. Not going to lie - super excited about Titanfall. Smile

So far Forza's been a hit with my son, and he's usually not a big racing fan. Zoo Tycoon has had my girls drooling all over its animal-based cuteness. Really looking forward to trying Peggle 2 soon.

I just read up on Zoo Tycoon, and I am disappointed. They beefed it up, yet took out all the fun parts, like being able to let dangerous animals out of their cages, or putting a lamb in a lion's cage. Worse yet, they added a buggy, yet you can't run over people. That'd be like making a Rollercoaster Tycoon without the ability to crash the coasters. Its just not as fun without the copious amounts of potential violence. Sad

ROFL @ Canis - so it's funny. I've never really been big into the Tycoon series and I didn't know about any of this, but my oldest was telling me just the other day how she used to free lions to chew on patrons. Did not know that was a thing. Though, she loves interacting with 'the big kitties' (tigers/lions) with the Kinect.
